| Summary: This study was conducted to determine the recreational potential of Trabzon Sera Lake Nature Park.
Sera Lake Natural Park is one of the privileged areas where recreational activities can be carried out besides its natural and cultural values. In this study, which was carried out to determine the protected area and increasing recreational activities, artan Recreation Assessment Method di developed by Gülez 1980 was used.
In this method, the landscape value of the area, climate value, the degree of accessibility to the area, recreational facilities and pollution, such as negative factors, such as where the location can be searched and can be used by scoring in 20 specialties there. Recreation Potential valuation form shows the maximum score that each feature can receive. Individuals have recorded the data that each feature will receive as a result of field data and observations provided that they do not exceed the maximum score. Thus, the recreation potential of the area was found by adding the scores. As a result of the survey, the area has a high recreation potential with a value of 62.3%. It was concluded that Sera Lake, which is a protected area, is suitable for being a Natural Park. |
