Summary:

The Hamamayağı hot water spring in North Anatolian Fault Zone has a temperature of 36°C, discharge pH values of 6.9 to 7.1, electrical conductivity (EC) of 591 to 598 μS/cm and TDS contents between 295 and 446 mg/l. According to analyses of heavy metal contents such as Fe, Mn, Ni, Al, Pb, Zn, and Cu, The Hamamayağı hot water spring is suitable for the Thermal Standarts, The Kocapınar cold water spring is not suitable in terms of Ni content with reference to Regulation Concerning Water.
