The Hydrogeological, Hydrogeochemical Investigation of the Surface-Groundwaters and Determination of the Water Quality of the Trabzon City

The studied waters are generally carbonated-sulphated water (Ca+Mg>Na+K) classes, and poor acids are more than strong acids (HCO3+CO3> Cl+SO4). Temperatures of the ground waters are 9.8-17.3ºC, the pH values are 6.89-8.04, the electrical conductivity (EC) values are 205-521 µS/cm, the total dissolved solids are 117-442 mg/l and the dissolved oxygen (DO) is varies between 1.2 and 15.81 mg/l. Temperatures of the surface waters are 2.1-21.4ºC, the pH values are 6.94-8.94, the electrical conductivity (EC) values are 28-450 µS/cm, the total dissolved solids are 21-287 mg/l and the dissolved oxygen (DO) is varies between 9.1 and 16.86 mg/l.
