      The study area takes place in the Colchis sector of Euro-Siberian floristic area of the Holarctic region with regard to plant geography.

      84 families, 246 genus and 383 vascular plant taxa belonging to Pteridophyta and Spermatophyta divisions were determined in the study area. 369 Angiosperm taxa were listed according to Cronquist method, 5 Gymnosperm taxa were listed according to Davis method and the other 9 Ferns were listed systematically according to Parris and Fraser-Jenkins methods.

      Floristic regions of 209 (54,56 %) taxa were able to determined in the study area. 184 (48,04 %) of these are Euro-Siberian element, 14 (3,66 %) of these are Irano-Turanian element and 11 (2,87 %) of these are Meditteranean element.

      10 taxa are new records for A7-Trabzon square.
