Summary:
The study area takes place in the Colchis sector of Euro-Siberian floristic area of the Holarctic region with regard to plant geography. 61 families, 190 genus and 385 vascular plant taxa belonging to Pteridophyta and Spermatophyta division have been determined in the study area. 374 taxa belonging to Spermatophyta division have been listed according to Davis and Cronquist and the other 11 ferns have been listed systematicly according to Parris and Fraser-Jenkins methods. 32 endemic and 9 rare taxa were determined in the study area. Endemic and rare plants determined in study area were classified according to IUCN threat categories. Among these plants Barbarea integrifolia DC. is in Endangered (EN) threat category. Taxa known their plant geography region could be ordered as follow: Floristic Regions Percentage Euro-Siberian % 50,13Irano-Turanian % 5,97 Meditteranean % 1,8225 plant taxa are new records for A7 square.
