Summary:

Of the reared individuals 94,68% was adults, 1,73% was pupae, 3,58% was prepupae. Of these individuals 90,06% was alive and 9,94% was dead. Of the alive individuals 97,18% was adults, 1,93% was pupae, 0,89% was prepupae.

Number of R. grandis adults and alive adults that were from rearings in which D. micans larvae that were in fourth larval stage were used was statistically higher than the rearings in which D. micans larvae that were in fifth larval stage were used (p<0.05). There were no statistical differences among the number of new progeny which were reared from 1♂+1♀ and 1♂+4♀ parents (p>0.05). Rearing was realized in 28 of 45 rearing environments. An average of 59,32 R. grandis was reared per rearing environments and 85,50% of 11.023 D. micans larvae that were used in rearings were consumed.
