Summary:

In order to do this study, the forty-five sample plots were selected and 176 soil samples were taken from soil profile from each sample plots that taking into account aspect, elevation, and tree species with selection and sampling method.

Soil textures (ratio of sand, silt, and clay), pH, available water capacity (FSK), organic matter, and soil nutrient elements (Ca++, Mg++, Na+, K+, P2O5) were determined in soil samples. Taken separately for each sample area relationships between with 100-year-old top-height, soil characteristics and physiographic factors revealed statistically. In the statistical analysis results; relief, the rate of soil silt, organic matter content, the absolute soil depth and B-layer thickness, pH and wilting point of layer B are positive; land slope, the sand content, wilting point of A horizon, Na+, Mg++ B horizon negative relationship have been detected with productivity of Turkish Black Pine (Pinus nigra) stands.
