Summary: Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), Anatolian Black Pine (Pinus nigra Arn. subsp. pallasiana (Lamb.) Holmboe) and Lebanon Cedar (Cedrus libani A. Rich.) were subjectedto the artificial freezing tests. The plants were exposed to 3 different freezing temperatures (-150C, -250C and -450C) for 16 hours. The damages occur at -250C in Lebanon Cedar and at -450C in Anatolian Black Pine when we were subjected artificial frost. But in these two temperatures there had beenno important damage determined in Scots Pine. Electrolyte leakage analyses were used for assessment of damages on the needles ofseedlings. The results exhibited that, cold damage affected electrolyte leakage and chlorophyll fluorescence (Fv/FM) of needles and they showed good correlation.Key Words: Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), Anatolian Black Pine (Pinus nigra Arn. subsp. pallasiana (Lamb.)
