Summary:

According to results, GA3 pre-treatment showed the highest germination percent while the highest germination was observed in seeds that were collected in mid-September. Also, hot water (90˚C) treatment seems to damage the Hornbeam seeds. There were no germination in any population under this treatment.

Variance analysis (ANOVA), SPSS statistical program was used, found significant morphogenetic variations between populations, germination percent of pre-treatments, and leaf characteristics within and between populations.
