Summary: The forestry sector carries numerous risks such as physical, chemical, ergonomic and psychosocial in terms of occupational health safety. Because of this reason the minimization of negative factors which effect the health and safety of workers in the forestry nursery and determination of precautions are important. By the reason of not fallowing ergonomic working principles, nursery workers get musculoskeletal disorder. This situation create a negative effect on productivity, job performance, health of worker and quality of life. This thesis study is carried out in Hendek Nursery Chiefdom and Bayburt Nursery Chiefdom where the working environment is different from each other. The aim of this study is to determine the health problems, working environment and analyse body positions of forestry nursery workers. 104 workers participated in this study. The survey questions which include the personal information of workers are carried out to evaluate the conditions that exposed to warmth, moisture and noise. Finally, by specifying workers’ job definition their risk scores were found during their work in terms of ergonomic. In this study scores were done by using OWAS, REBA and RULA.
